The Company is responsible for providing and operating the Service, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

If the Company changes its legal entity or transfers operation of the Service, the change will be handled in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
Purpose of the Service
Connectionship provides technology that enables people to discover and communicate with other users and, where mutually desired, transition from online interaction to real-world social interaction.
Connectionship is a technology platform and does not act as, and does not present itself as, a matchmaker, dating agency, employment agency, therapist, counselor, security service, background-check provider, or guarantor of any user's identity, intentions, conduct, or safety.
Our goal is to facilitate connections — not to control or guarantee the outcome of those connections.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent that:
-
You meet the minimum age requirement.
-
You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
-
The information you provide is accurate and current.
-
You will comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
-
You will not create an account for another person without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe do not satisfy these requirements.
Connectionship will report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by 18 U.S.C. §2258A. This reporting obligation applies regardless of any other provision in these Terms describing our discretion to monitor the Service.
Connectionship will disclose account or interaction records to law-enforcement agencies in response to valid legal process (such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant) or where Connectionship, in its good-faith judgment, believes disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to a person's life or safety.
Account Registration
You will be required to create an account to use certain features.
You agree to:
-
Provide truthful and accurate information.
-
Keep your account information current.
-
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
-
Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Profiles and User Information
Users may create profiles containing information such as photographs, descriptions, interests, location information, hobbies, preferences, and other information.
You understand that information contained in another user's profile may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or intentionally false.
Connectionship does not guarantee that:
-
A user is who they claim to be.
-
A user's photographs accurately represent their current appearance.
-
A user's age, occupation, location, relationship status, or other information is accurate.
-
A user's intentions are genuine.
-
A user will behave appropriately.
-
A connection will result in friendship, dating, companionship, or any other relationship.
You are responsible for exercising your own judgment when interacting with other users.
User Content
Users may submit photographs, text, videos, comments, messages, profile information, and other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content that you create.
By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant Connectionship a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, modify as reasonably necessary for operating the Service, and otherwise use that content to provide and improve the Service. This license does not change our obligations to retain or delete information under the App Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the User Content and that your content does not violate applicable law or these Terms.
Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe User Content infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to copyright@connectionship.co, including the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). We will process compliant notices, remove or disable access to identified material, notify the affected user, and process any valid counter-notice in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Company contact details are provided in the Company Information section above.

We want the Service to be a respectful environment where people can form genuine connections. The Community Standards in these Terms govern acceptable use of the Service.

Moving from Online to In-Person Interactions
The Service does encourage users to develop connections online and, where mutually comfortable, meet in person.
Any decision to meet another user in person is voluntary and is made solely by the individuals involved.
Connectionship does not require users to meet in person and does not guarantee that an in-person meeting will be safe, successful, appropriate, or enjoyable.
Users should take reasonable precautions before meeting someone they first encountered through the Service.
For meetings, we strongly recommend that users:
-
Meet in a well-populated public location.
-
Tell a trusted person where they are going.
-
Arrange their own transportation.
-
Avoid sharing unnecessary personal or financial information.
-
Keep control of their personal belongings and transportation.
-
Consider limiting the duration of the first meeting.
-
Leave if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
-
Contact emergency services or law enforcement when appropriate.
-
Protect their debit and credit card information.
Personal Boundaries and Consent
Agreeing to meet someone does not create an obligation to continue the meeting or relationship.
Meeting another user does not mean that you have consented to:
-
Physical contact.
-
Sexual activity.
-
Sharing personal information.
-
Providing money or financial assistance.
-
Continuing the conversation.
-
Another meeting.
Each person is responsible for respecting boundaries and decisions of others.
If someone indicates that they want to end an interaction, you must respect that decision.
Safety and Risk
You acknowledge that interacting with people online and meeting people in person can involve risks.
Those risks may include, among other things:
-
Misrepresentation.
-
Fraud or scams.
-
Harassment.
-
Theft.
-
Physical injury.
-
Sexual misconduct.
-
Criminal conduct.
-
Emotional distress.
-
Other unexpected behavior.
Connectionship cannot eliminate these risks and cannot guarantee that users will behave safely, honestly, lawfully, or appropriately.
You are responsible for making your own decisions regarding whom you communicate with and whether, when, where, and how you meet another user.
Identity and Background Checks
Unless expressly identified as a specific verification or screening service, Connectionship does not conduct comprehensive background checks on users.
A verification feature, if provided, should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a user's:
-
Identity.
-
Criminal history.
-
Employment.
-
Financial status.
-
Relationship status.
-
Character.
-
Intentions.
-
Future conduct.
Users should independently evaluate information provided by other users.
Financial Safety
Users should exercise extreme caution when another user asks for:
-
Money.
-
Loans.
-
Gift cards.
-
Cryptocurrency.
-
Investments.
-
Financial account information.
-
Credit-card information.
-
Assistance with transferring funds.
Connectionship does not endorse financial transactions between users.
Users should never feel obligated to provide money or financial information to another user because of an online or in-person relationship.
Reporting and Blocking
We may provide tools that allow users to report or block other users.
Users should report behavior that they believe violates these Terms or presents a safety concern.
Reports may relate to:
-
Harassment.
-
Threats.
-
Fraud.
-
Fake profiles.
-
Scams.
-
Stalking.
-
Abuse.
-
Unwanted sexual conduct.
-
Other prohibited behavior.
We may investigate reports and take action we believe is appropriate, including removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts, or terminating accounts. We cannot guarantee that every report will result in a particular action.
Emergency Situations
The Service is not an emergency-response service.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement.
Do not rely on Connectionship, its employees, moderators, or other users as a substitute for emergency services.
Mental Health and Emotional Well-Being
Connectionship is designed to help people develop meaningful social connections. However, the Service is not a substitute for professional mental health care, counseling, or crisis intervention services.
If you are experiencing emotional distress, mental health difficulties, or a crisis, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified mental health professional or an appropriate support service. If you believe you may be in immediate danger or may harm yourself or another person, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis-support service.
Connectionship does not provide emergency mental health services and cannot guarantee immediate assistance in a crisis. Users are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support when needed.
Company-Sponsored Events
Connectionship may occasionally organize or facilitate events where users can meet in person.
Additional rules may apply to Company-sponsored events.
Participation in an event may require separate registration, acknowledgement of event rules, waivers, or other conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, attending an event remains voluntary and users are responsible for their own conduct and personal safety.
User-to-User Relationships
Connectionship is not a party to relationships, friendships, dates, meetings, communications, transactions, or other interactions between users.
We do not guarantee that a user will:
-
Find a friend.
-
Find a romantic partner.
-
Find a compatible connection.
-
Receive responses.
-
Have a successful meeting.
-
Develop a lasting relationship.
Any relationship that develops between users is solely between those users.
Existing Relationships and Offline Connections
This Service may be used by individuals who already know or have interacted with one another outside the Service.
An “Existing Connection” means anyone a user already knows or has previously interacted with, including friends, acquaintances, colleagues, neighbors, family members, classmates, or business contacts.
a) Connectionship Does Not Establish the Prior Relationship
If you communicate with or meet another user whom you already knew outside of the Service, you acknowledge that the Company did not create, establish, or independently verify that pre-existing relationship. Your decision to connect, communicate, meet, or otherwise interact with an Existing Connection through the Service is voluntary.
b) User's Independent Knowledge
When interacting with an Existing Connection, you may already possess knowledge about that person's identity, background, personality, history, or circumstances. You are responsible for using your own independent judgment and knowledge when deciding whether and how to interact with that person through the Service or in person. The Company does not represent that information supplied by either user is accurate merely because the users already know one another.
c) In-Person Meetings with Existing Connections
If you already know another user outside the Service and choose to meet that person in person, the Company's recommendations regarding public locations, transportation, personal information, and other safety precautions remain applicable. However, the Company does not assume responsibility for the existing relationship or for circumstances arising from the users' prior interactions outside the Service.
d) Existing Disputes or Conflicts
The Company is not responsible for disputes, disagreements, conflicts, relationship issues, employment matters, family matters, financial disputes, or other circumstances that existed between users before they joined or used the Service. Users should exercise appropriate judgment when using the Service to interact with individuals with whom they have an existing personal or professional relationship.
e) No Assumption of Trust
Knowing another person outside the Service does not create an assumption or representation by the Company that the person is trustworthy, safe, appropriate, or suitable for continued interaction through the Service. Users remain responsible for determining the level of trust and interaction they are comfortable maintaining with another user.
f) Information Shared Between Existing Connections
Users should consider carefully what information they share through the Service, including photographs, messages, location information, contact information, employment information, financial information, or other personal information. The Company cannot control what another user does with information that the user voluntarily shares with that person.
g) User Responsibility for Offline Conduct
The Company is not responsible for conduct occurring between users outside the Service, whether the users first met through the Service or knew one another before using the Service, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded or limited. Users are responsible for their own actions and decisions when interacting with other users.
h) Relationship Origin Does Not Change Community Standards
Regardless of whether two users met through the Service or knew one another before joining the Service, all users remain subject to the Company's Terms, including these Community Standards, and applicable laws. The existence of a prior relationship does not permit a user to engage in conduct that would otherwise violate the Company's policies, including harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, discrimination, fraud, unwanted contact, abuse, or sharing another person's private information without authorization. Users are expected to respect the boundaries and preferences of other users, including individuals they already know personally or professionally. If a user does not wish to communicate, connect, meet, or continue an interaction with another user, that preference should be respected. Repeated unwanted contact through the Service or through related offline interactions may constitute a violation of these Terms. The Company may review reports involving Existing Connections and may take appropriate action under these Terms, regardless of whether the underlying relationship originated outside the Service. Nothing in this section requires the Company to resolve personal disputes or determine the history or validity of a relationship between users. The Company's role is limited to administering the Service and enforcing its applicable policies to the extent reasonably practicable.
Prohibited Commercial Activity
Unless expressly authorized by Connectionship, users may not use the Service to conduct commercial activities, including:
-
Advertising businesses.
-
Soliciting customers.
-
Multi-level marketing.
-
Recruiting.
-
Selling products or services.
-
Soliciting investments.
-
Fundraising.
-
Repeated promotional messaging.
Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right, but do not assume an obligation, to monitor or moderate activity on the Service.
We may remove User Content or restrict, suspend, or terminate an account if we believe that a user:
-
Violated these Terms.
-
Violated these Community Standards.
-
Created a safety concern.
-
Engaged in fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
-
Used the Service unlawfully.
-
Misused the Service.
-
Created a risk to other users or Connectionship.
We may also cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities where legally required or appropriate.
The discretionary framing of this section does not limit our independent legal obligation to report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC under 18 U.S.C. §2258A, described above under Eligibility.
Interactive Computer Service
Connectionship is a provider of an interactive computer service, as that term is used in 47 U.S.C. §230. Connectionship does not act as the publisher or speaker of User Content and is not responsible for User Content posted by others. Connectionship's good-faith actions to restrict, remove, or moderate content or accounts it considers objectionable are voluntary safety measures and do not create liability under 47 U.S.C. §230(c)(2) or otherwise expand any duty owed to users.
Privacy
Your use of the Connectionship app and the services that support it is also subject to our App Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and otherwise process information in connection with app use. The App Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Connectionship does not sell precise geolocation data or data reasonably understood to reveal health status, sexual orientation, or immigration status to third-party data brokers or advertisers. Additional detail on app data collection and sharing is set out in our App Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, graphics, functionality, and Company-created content, is owned by or licensed to Connectionship and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service.
Third-Party Services
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, payment providers, mapping services, social networks, or other services.
Connectionship does not control and is not responsible for third-party services.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Certain features are offered on a subscription basis that renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Before you pay, we will clearly and conspicuously disclose the length of the subscription term, the price that will be charged, and how to cancel. You may cancel at any time using a mechanism at least as simple as the process used to subscribe; cancellation will take effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless otherwise stated. We will provide advance notice before any increase to your subscription price takes effect.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
-
The Service will always be available.
-
The Service will be error-free.
-
Information provided by users will be accurate.
-
Profiles are authentic.
-
Users will behave appropriately.
-
Connections will be successful.
-
In-person meetings will be safe.
-
The Service will meet your particular expectations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Connectionship and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Service or interactions with other users.
This includes, to the extent permitted by law, claims arising from communications, meetings, dates, friendships, relationships, events, transactions, or other interactions between users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Connectionship's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Connectionship in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Release Relating to User Interactions
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release Connectionship and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from claims arising out of the conduct of other users, including online communications and voluntary in-person meetings.
This release does not apply to, and nothing in these Terms waives, releases, or limits: (a) claims arising from the Company's own gross negligence, recklessness, fraud, or willful misconduct; (b) claims that applicable law does not permit to be released or waived by consumer agreement; or (c) claims arising from the Company's failure to act in accordance with its own stated policies regarding reported abuse, harassment, or safety threats.
This provision does not apply to liability that cannot legally be waived or released.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Connectionship and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from and against any third-party claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to:
-
Your use or misuse of the Service.
-
Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
-
Your User Content.
-
Your violation of another person's rights.
-
Your unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise prohibited conduct.
-
Your interactions with other users, whether online or in person, including conduct occurring in connection with a meeting arranged through or following use of the Service, to the extent attributable to your acts or omissions.
This indemnification obligation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not require you to indemnify Connectionship for claims to the extent they arise from Connectionship's own negligence, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
Connectionship may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service when permitted by law and when we reasonably believe that termination is necessary or appropriate.
Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and user interactions.
Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Service at any time.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
Connectionship will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disaster, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or utility failures, or governmental action.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, email, or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law and Applicable Local Laws
1. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any contractual disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
2. Applicable Local Laws
We operate the Service in multiple jurisdictions. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, limit, or waive any rights, remedies, or protections that you may be entitled to under mandatory applicable laws in your state, country, or jurisdiction of residence. Where such laws apply and cannot lawfully be excluded or waived by agreement, those laws shall continue to apply.
3. Consumer and Privacy Protections
Your use of the Service remains subject to applicable privacy, data protection, consumer protection, and other mandatory legal requirements. Where applicable law grants you rights or protections that cannot be waived or restricted by contract, nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as limiting those rights or protections.
4. Interpretation and Enforceability
If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable law, that provision shall be interpreted and applied to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any portion that cannot lawfully be enforced shall be limited or severed as necessary, without affecting the enforceability of the remaining provisions to the extent permitted by law.
5. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
Subject to applicable law and any valid dispute resolution provisions in these Terms, the courts of competent jurisdiction in California may hear disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms. Nothing in this provision prevents a user from bringing a claim in another court where applicable law grants that user the right to do so.
Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver
Except as set out below, you and Connectionship agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and Connectionship each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action, except as set out below.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Section, this arbitration agreement and any class-, collective-, or representative-action waiver will not apply to a dispute that, under the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2022 (9 U.S.C. §§401–402), you elect to pursue in court.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. Connectionship may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
Electronic Communications
You consent to receive notices, disclosures, and other communications from Connectionship electronically, including through the Service, email, or text message. You agree that all such communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our App Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement between you and Connectionship regarding your use of the Service.
